Advanced Brazilian Course 5 Star's Advanced Brazilian Course allows children ages 8-13 to experience an intensive 3 day's where they can learn different techniques which may not be taught on our other courses. Our 'Brazilian Experience' is for dedicated players who would like to progress further in the game. We aim to give players the freedom to improvise when under pressure, or in front of goal and give them the freedom to express themselves when learning. Coaches will coach players technical tactical and functional parts of the game allowing players again to express themselves throughout the three day course. The Brazilian course is not for everyone child. Your son must be dedicated to learn over the three days and diaries will be carried out so we can make sure players know exactly why they are carrying out a skill, pass, shot etc. Click to see our Brazilian videos here Brazilian Programme Ball Mastery is very important in football. Each day we start off with quick feet movements allowing players to feel confident using both feet. This is very important in the learning curve for all players who attend our three day course. Players will then learn tactical parts of the game and functional aspects. Questions such as What is the difference between a square pass and a diagonal pass? . When might we use a diagonal pass? Which is more effective? Our Brazilian courses also focus on 2 v 2 and 4 v 4 games. This allows players more touches of the ball and more space for players to express themselves on the ball. WEEKEND SESSIONS << Back 2009- Start Date- 17/01/09 Saturday Mornings Saturday mornings are very educational for all players and we always make each session FUN. Prizes and awards are given out every 10th week for children who impress and work hard. Regular tournaments are also introduced so players get used to competition. Trophy Winners Kids that win awards at our recreational and holiday courses get entered into the winners gallery. They have their names entered in the 5 star "Hall of Fame" which they can visit to see the list of deserved winners. Petite Coaching - Lowtown Primary School Every Saturday 9.30 - 10.30 am Fun introduction for 3 to 5 year olds to begin to learn football using a "Games Based" approach. THE COACHING << Back 5 Star Coaching in Schools Sessions will naturally be age appropriate and will follow a programme of development starting with individual technique and skill work and gradually progressing to teamwork and tactical understanding. As a company we do not believe in lines of children waiting for their turn so provide one ball each whenever we can to encourage maximal participation which speeds up the learning process and makes lesson time more enjoyable. An hour long curriculum session is structured to maximise learning Sports Session Structure in Schools Introduction A brief talk on what the session is setting out to achieve and why the topic is relevant to football and other sports. Warm Up 10 minutes of movement games including dynamic stretching with or without a ball, which will prepare pupils for the rest of the session and will help them understand how the body works and the importance of being prepared for physical activity. Skills and Technical Session 15 minutes of structured coaching where the pupils learn the correct ways in which to execute different skills in a variety of sports. Game-Based Activities 20 minutes of games and exercises with a ball which will improve individual ability and confidence and teach players about the importance of concentration, communication, good practice and teamwork in order to achieve personal and team success. Debrief A quick question and answer summary of what was taught in the session to make sure the pupils have the understanding of the session.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES << Back Spring/Summer Fetes We provide a coach for the duration of the event who will bring along a goal, the speed gun and target net and will provide three different activities throughout the day. The popular 'Beat the Goalie', 'Speed Shot' and 'Free Kick Challenge' are always a hit with kids and adults alike, especially with the great prizes for top scorers provided by us. We charge a small fee for each activity and any money that is made on the day is split 70/30 in favor of the school. Fundraising Opportunities As well as our structured coaching programmes, we also provide schools with the opportunity to raise money throughout the year, whether it is for the school or for other good causes.

HALF TERM AT FARSLEY CELTIC 5 Star Sports At Farsley Celtic Autumn Half Term 2010 During the Autumn half term holidays 5 star ran a football skills school at Farsley Celtics Throstle Nest complex. The school catered for kids of varying skill from 6 years old up to 12 years of age. Gallery Trophy Winners << Back The course ran for five days and included teaching close ball skills, passing, turning, tackling and shooting. Emphasis was on building a strong sense of teamwork and of course having fun! Outside we had use of 2 mini soccer pitches and a full size pitch for the older kids. When the weather turned cold, we were able to use Farsley Celtics indoor facilities.

After School Football- In Partnership With Next Generation Football We can offer course's to suit each schools needs. You can book in 5 or a 10 week programme. Many of our schools now work with us all year round. Courses can be either 1 hour or 1 1/2 hour long after school. Highly experienced, qualified and CRB checked coaches to deliver sessions. Comprehensive experience in delivering after school courses in football . Curriculums, risk assessments and weekly plans for each course that target specific age groups, are loads of fun and develop skills. Tried and tested session plans for outdoor and indoor sessions whatever the weather. LOOKING FOR FOOTBALL TRIALS AT PRO CLUBS? Look no further than the Next Generation Football Trials Showcase!. The concept of Football Showcase is to give you the opportunity to display your talent to Scouts and Coaches of Football Professional Clubs. After we receive your initial application, one of our Football Consultants will review it, they will then contact you to let you know the outcome. If successful, you will be invited to the Next Generati on Football Trials Training week. The Next Generation Football Trials is a Four day training course in which you will experience what life is like for a Professional Footballer! There will be roughly 60 places for each age group available for the NGF Academy in 2011. Under 7’s to under 13’s and under 14’s to Under 18’s. From Monday through to Wednesday you will receive first class coaching from our team of Academy Coaches – all of whom are fully FA /UEFA Licensed Coaches. Then on Thursday, the final day, you will play in our ‘Showcase Event’ .T his will involve a game played in front of Scouts and Coaches from Professional Football Clubs. Next Generation Talent Centres are an Football Company that offers Academy level coaching to players aged 6 to 17. We teach our players using a progressive training syllabus that has taken years to complete. We operate outside of the constraints that arise when children sign for a pro club ; therefore all of our boys receive Professional Academy level training during the week but can also continue playing with their mates for their local team at the weekend while keeping their Professional Club options open. Our training consists of one or two weekly sessions following the school calendar, using our coaching syllabus which works closely with a number of combined session several Professional Academies use. Throughout the year we organise friendly games for our U'7 to U'16 groups against Premiership and Football League teams. In 2011 we are also looking to take 2 age groups to domestic and elite tournaments across Europe. Our games and tournament programme means our boys are exposed to top English standards of football. Whilst this is a great experience on the pitch, the sense of team spirit and responsibility are great life lessons and this is often commented on by parents of the players. Our Aim… Quite simply, we want to bridge the huge gap that currently exists between grass-roots football and academy football. For those players seeking a future playing professionally we want to make sure that when they do join a pro club, it is the right club. It is never our choice where a player should sign; this decision is one for the whole family. After School Provision

After School Provision Supporting schools 5 Star Sports has set up various after school sport provisions in order to support schools in achieving recent government targets: Every child to be given the opportunity of participating in 5 hours of sport each week. Extending the opening times of schools. The clubs start immediately at the end of the school day and usually last for 1 hour with the option for parents to pay extra if they are unable to pick their children up at the requested time. Payments are made by the parents to 5 Star Sports Academy so there is no fee for the school. Various sports are on offer and 5 Star Sports are happy to accommodate any needs presented by schools and school children in terms of which sports are delivered. Examples of courses currently on offer include Basketball, Cricket, Football ( Next Generation Football), Gymnastics, Netball and Tag Rugby.

Next Generation Trials Summery

The aim of the Trials is to offer a genuine route, pathway without promise back or into professional football for some of the many talented youngsters released or simply undiscovered by the professional system. If we are successful then we will have achieved our main aim but in doing so we will have lost one of our players. NGFT send out invitations and request assessments and trials (selected players) to professional clubs. We know from experience there are sometimes good players on view that are overlooked or who do not fit into the category the particular scouts or managers are looking for. With this in mind the Academy operates with its own independent scouting panel. This consists of ex youth players who have been signed to a pro club, but not quite met the grade( they know what it takes and what clubs look for).

The Next Generation Football Team provide a professional coaching service for footballers aged between 5-18 years. All our staff are qualified to at least level 2 in football, with 70% of our staff having their UEFA B licence. Our staff have worked within the footballing industry for at least 3 years, with the majority been involved for over 8 years. Our staff are given intensive CPD 4 times a year so that we can keep providing quality coaching staff who will provide you with quality coaching. Football Trials, Talent Centres, Birthday Parties, After School Football, Saturday Morning Football are all offered to schools and children from ages 3- 16.
